Position Summary
The Facilities Specialist IV is a senior handson facilities role with a primary focus on commercial/industrial HVAC systems and overall facility maintenance. This position supports office lab cleanroom and manufacturingsupport environments ensuring building systems operate safely reliably and in compliance with applicable standards. The role works independently serves as a technical resource for others and coordinates contractors as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems including air handlers makeup air units exhaust systems controls and associated mechanical components.
- Perform facilitywide maintenance activities in addition to HVAC including mechanical repairs minor electrical/lowvoltage support plumbing and building repairs (within scope of training and qualifications).
- Support cleanroom and manufacturing support HVAC systems including airflow pressurization temperature and humidity control.
- Use CMMS (e.g. IBM Maximo) to manage work orders preventive maintenance and asset history.
- Utilize building automation systems (e.g. Johnson Controls Niagara) for monitoring and troubleshooting.
- Coordinate and oversee contractors performing HVAC and facility services.
- Document work clearly and accurately using CMMS and Microsoft Office tools.
- Participate in an oncall rotation to support afterhours and emergency facility/HVAC needs.
Required Qualifications
- Active Massachusetts HVAC License (commercial/industrial)
- 710 years of facilities maintenance experience with strong HVAC focus
- Proven technical troubleshooting skills
- Experience working independently in an operational environment
- Ability to participate in an oncall schedule including responding to afterhours emergencies
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting cleanroom laboratory or manufacturing support environments
- Familiarity with Maximo Johnson Controls Niagara or similar systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel Outlook PowerPoint)
Physical & Work Environment
- Physically active role requiring lifting climbing working in tight spaces and use of hand and power tools
- Work may occur in office lab manufacturing support and cleanroom environments with appropriate PPE

NoThe salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location hire grade job-related knowledge skills experience and with consideration of internal equity of our current team addition to a comprehensive benefits package candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program as applicable.
For all sales roles the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
