Meeting and Events Coordinator
Job Summary
Portico is seeking a Meetings & Events Coordinator to support our team based at a world renowned insurance firm in the City. Youll manage the booking forecasting and logistics of meetings and events across the London and Ipswich offices ensuring a seamless and professional experience for all visitors and colleagues.
What Youll Do
- Coordinate all meeting and event bookings
- Oversee logistics and room readiness across both sites
- Liaise with internal teams external stakeholders and service partners
- Support wider front of house operations when needed
- Deliver a polished welcoming and efficient service
Hours: 40 Hours per week with shifts between 7am-5pm from Monday-Friday. As per business needs.
Salary: 38605 per annum
Qualifications :
Essential Skills & Experience
- Proven experience coordinating meetings and events within a corporate environment
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple bookings and priorities
- Confident working independently as well as collaboratively within a wider team
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise professionally with stakeholders at all levels
- A consistently positive caring and engaging approach to service delivery
- Demonstrates high levels of initiative reliability and a commitment to excellence
Desirable Skills & Experience
- Experience using Trimble/Manhattan booking or workplace management systems
- Previous exposure to front of house or hospitality operations
- Ability to build strong working relationships with service partners and internal teams
