Midland Ford Lincoln is seeking a motivated Automotive Body Technician Mentee to join our collision repair team. This is an entry-to-mid-level opportunity designed for individuals looking to grow their career in the collision repair industry.

As a Body Tech Mentee you will work alongside experienced technicians receive hands-on training and develop the skills needed to perform high-quality repairs that meet manufacturer and dealership standards. This is a great opportunity for someone with foundational experience (or technical training) who wants to advance in a high-production professional shop environment.

Responsibilities

Under the guidance of senior technicians you will:

• Assist with teardown and reassembly of vehicles

• Learn and apply approved repair materials and techniques

• Perform repairs to OEM standards

• Communicate supplemental damage to estimators

• Help measure pull and repair structural damage

• Assist with aluminum repair processes

• Perform quality checks after repairs

• Maintain productivity and manage time effectively

• Contribute to a positive team-focused work environment
  
  

Qualifications

• 02 years of body shop or collision repair experience preferred

• Technical school training is a plus

• Strong communication skills

• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic

• Team-oriented mindset

• Willingness to learn and take initiative

• Passion for building a long-term career in the automotive industry
