Key Responsibilities

• Technical Leadership: Collaborate directly with customers to develop custom filtration purification and flow control solutions.
• Commercial Interface: Partner with commercial teams to support customers requiring technical guidance across Motts product portfolio.
• Cost Estimation: Develop accurate timely cost estimates to support commercial decision-making.
• Market Insight: Capture customer application insights to inform and shape long-term product strategy.
• Coaching & Mentorship: Support the technical and professional development of engineers within the organization.

Major Challenges

• Recommending solutions with incomplete or evolving customer requirements.
• Operating with limited published data related to porous metals and advanced applications.
• Coordinating across multiple functions to deliver fast accurate responses.
• Managing and prioritizing multiple concurrent customer requests.
• Supporting industry-leading customers at the forefront of technological innovation.

Expected Performance Outcomes

• Engage customers within 6 hours of RFQ submission.
• Deliver technical solutions within 5 days of request.
• Achieve cost estimates within 10% accuracy.
• Influence >$5M in bookings with above-average EBITDA contribution.

Required Experience & Education

• 5 years in a technical customer-facing role and 10 years in a manufacturing environment.
• Semiconductor industry experience strongly preferred.
• Bachelors degree in Materials Science Mechanical Engineering Chemical Engineering or related field (advanced degree a plus).
• Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical challenges or launch new products.

Technical Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in gas contamination control fluid dynamics and materials science.
• Familiarity with semiconductor fabs equipment and industry standards preferred.
• Ability to connect technical solutions to business and financial outcomes.
• Strong capability to synthesize complex technical information and present to customer audiences at all levels.
