Case Review Specialist

Summary
The Case Review Specialist position serves as a Case Reviewer for the program. This position will facilitate case plan development meetings and semi-annual (SAR) case plan reviews with families service teams foster parents counselors and other service providers.

Responsibilities
The Case Review Specialist will perform duties including but not limited to:

• Perform all work in a manner consistent with the National Youth Advocate Programs mission values and philosophies.
• Coordinates schedules and completes case reviews including but not limited to initial Case Plan Family Team meetings quarterly Family Team meetings SAR case reviews.
• Completes required documentation in a timely manner.
• Collects and compiles data for reporting purposes.
• Acts as an independent Case Reviewer to assure that all current service needs are being addressed appropriately.
• Prepares for reviews by assuring the required documentation is prepared letters of invitation have been sent and that updates have been completed prior to the review.
• Performs other duties as requested.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in human services from an accredited college or university.
• 2 years of Child Welfare experience.
• Must demonstrate a sincere commitment to the service and advocacy for youth and families.
• Must be able to maintain compliance with attending agency required training programs.
• Proficient use of desktop and laptop computers smart phones and tablets printers fax machines and photocopiers as well as software including word processing spreadsheet and database programs.
