Givens Aldersgate is looking for a full-time Life Enrichment Coordinator who will be responsible for implementing activities that enhance the quality of life and well-being of memory care this role you will promote social engagement and support the physical emotional and cognitive needs of the residents.
Schedule:
- Monday - Friday: 8 am to 5 pm
What youll do:
- Plan coordinate implement document and evaluate activities that enhance the quality of life and well-being of residents in memory care.
- Collaborate with residents families staff and volunteers to develop a vibrant and fulfilling activity program.
- Organize special events outings and celebrations for residents and their families.
- Coordinate logistics secure necessary resources and ensure events run smoothly.
- Work closely with other departments to integrate activity programming into overall plans of care.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations policies and standards related to life enrichment programing resident rights and safety protocols.
- Secure contracted services such as art and music therapy.
- Maintain accurate records of program attendance resident participation and program outcomes.
What youll need
- 2 Years of experience with adult recreation or activitiesprograms
- 2 Years of experience working with patientsin memory care
- Activity Director Certificationor CTRS
Compensation: $22 -$24 per hour.
