Job Summary
We are seeking competent and dedicated professionals to join our clinical team in a field-based capacity. This role involves delivering high-quality home healthcare services across Lagos ensuring excellent patient experience and clinical standards.
Successful candidates will be assigned responsibilities based on their qualifications:
Phlebotomists will focus on professional sample collection and specimen management.
Nurses will perform phlebotomy alongside broader nursing care services during home visits.
The ideal candidate must be professional patient-focused highly mobile and comfortable working independently in a home-care environment.
Key Responsibilities
For All Candidates (Phlebotomists & Nurses):
Perform venipuncture and other clinical sample collection procedures efficiently.
Ensure proper labeling handling storage and transportation of all specimens.
Maintain strict adherence to infection prevention and control protocols.
Communicate professionally and empathetically with patients.
Maintain accurate documentation and timely reporting of all field activities.
Additional Responsibilities (For Nurses Only):
Administer medications as prescribed by attending physicians.
Monitor vital signs and carry out routine nursing procedures.
Provide patient education and follow-up care instructions.
Support home-based patient monitoring and ongoing clinical care.
Execute other clinical duties as assigned by the operations team.
Required Qualifications
Option 1: Certified Phlebotomist
Option 2: Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid practicing license
Experience & Skills
Minimum of 2 3 years of relevant practical experience.
Strong hands-on experience in phlebotomy (mandatory for both roles).
Sound knowledge of infection prevention and control practices.
Excellent communication interpersonal and patient management skills.
Proven ability to work independently in field and home-care settings.
High level of professionalism reliability and attention to detail.
Additional Requirements
Gender: Male (due to specific service requirements)
Location: Must reside in Lagos
Mobility: Must be mobile and able to drive or ride a motorbike
Flexibility: Willingness to conduct home visits and work across various locations within Lagos including outreach programs
