School Nurse
Job Summary
- Provide first aid and basic medical care to students and staff during school hours.
- Assess and manage minor illnesses injuries and health-related concerns referring cases to healthcare facilities when necessary.
- Maintain accurate and confidential health records for all students and staff.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with school policies and parental/medical authorization.
- Monitor students with chronic health conditions and ensure appropriate care plans are followed.
- Conduct routine health screenings and monitor students general well-being.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and coordinate emergency care when required.
- Educate students and staff on health hygiene nutrition and preventive healthcare practices.
- Ensure the school clinic is adequately stocked with medical supplies and equipment.
- Maintain inventory records and coordinate the replenishment of medical supplies.
- Communicate with parents/guardians regarding student health concerns illnesses injuries or emergencies.
- Support the implementation of health and safety policies infection prevention measures and public health guidelines.
- Collaborate with school management to promote a safe and healthy learning environment.
- Prepare health reports and documentation as required by the school and regulatory authorities.
- Participate in school events excursions and activities requiring medical support.
- Registered Nurse (RN) qualification with a valid practising license.
- 13 years nursing experience (school nursing experience is an advantage).
- Certification in First Aid CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) is preferred.

Required Skills:
