Job Summary

VACANCY: SCHOOL NURSE

A reputable British-curriculum private school in Ikeja GRA is seeking a qualified nurse to provide both pastoral care and first-line medical support to students. This is a dual-function role.

Key Responsibilities

Provide pastoral care and residential supervision for students

Administer first aid and basic medical care; manage the schools sick bay

Monitor and maintain records of students health medication and medical histories

Liaise with parents school management and external healthcare providers

Create a safe caring and disciplined house environment

Support the academic team in identifying student welfare and wellbeing concerns

Requirements

Complete a certified training program at a University College of Nursing or School of Nursing. REQUIRED

Current or recent registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN) is an advantage

Prior experience in a school paediatric or residential setting is highly desirable

Strong nurturing instincts with the ability to relate well to children and adolescents

High level of professionalism empathy and emotional intelligence

Proximity to Ikeja GRA is strongly preferred; punctuality is non-negotiable

Willingness to reside on campus.
