The successful candidate will service the territory from Sacramento CA to Portland OR with potential clients along the I-5 corridor. This role involves identifying and creating new opportunities to expand the companys market share and increase revenue.
Responsibilities:
Identify and develop new business opportunities within the truck equipment industry.
Conduct sales presentations and consultations to potential clients.
Develop and maintain long-term relationships with existing and prospective customers.
Develop and implement targeted sales strategies to meet sales goals.
Stay up to date with industry trends market conditions and competitor offerings.
Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
Develop a thorough understanding of the companys truck equipment products and services.
Lead contract negotiations and close sales deals promptly and professionally.
Use CRM software to track leads manage opportunities and maintain accurate records of sales activities.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in relationship sales with an emphasis on business development sales or account management.
Strong understanding of the trucking industry including trends challenges and key players.
Excellent sales and negotiation skills; ability to build rapport and close deals.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Strong customer service orientation with a focus on understanding client needs.
Comfortable using CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to travel as needed to meet clients attend industry events and explore new business opportunities.
