Job Summary
Job Purpose
support Business Director in formulation of Business Strategy / directions through collection of relevant data analyzing the same discerning the relevant trends development of possible scenarios discussing the scenarios with business director in order to zero in on a particular drive the Annual P&B and Annual Compensation exercise for support Business Director in other matters including Chairman review meetings analysis of acquisition opportunities and other financial matters
Job Context & Major Challenges
Pulp and Fibre Business encompasses 5 VSF plants (3 in India 1 in Indonesia 1 in Thailand) 3 pulp plants (one in India and two JVÂs in Canada). All the plants are having their own complexities and challenges. The business itself has been witness to a number of structural changes and facing severe competition from various substitute such a back drop and seeing to the enormousity / complexity of task involved before the Business Director it was necessary to create an agency which can serve as link between his office and the various challenges are:ÂWhile the magnitude of data involved is very enormous and the sources for it is also varied testing their accuracy / veracity poses a challenge.ÂAvailability of Information is limited w.r.t external environment .ÂEver changing and unpredictable global environment.
