Performance Analyst

Key Responsibilities

• Monitoring plant performance budgeted vs actual Daily Weekly Monthly Quarterly and Yearly basis.
  
• Analyzing performance across equipment technology geography & age of assets.
  
• Preparing the Monthly insights reports for O&M customers etc
  
• Keeping track on plant performance and reporting the shortfall for attention to the customer.
  
• Performing plant performance analysis and keeping track of O&M KPIs like PR PA GA MTTR MTBF Response Time Resolution Time etc.
  
• Training customer on product features and solving their pain-points in performance analysis.
  
• Running deep dive analysis to find out the RCA of ongoing challenges or under-performance using various RCA methodologies.
  
• Generating actionable insights for power plants performance improvements.
  
• Coordinate with O&M team and conduct new initiatives for performance improvements programs for customers.
  
• Assisting development of Apollo platform and enhancement for Centralized Monitoring System and Computer Maintenance Management System (Digital O&M Portal)
  
• Exploring the new and global benchmarking across the industry and setting up the best practices organization.
  
• Planning and Managing Drone Thermal Imaging IV Curve Testing and other predictive maintenance activity. Keeping track of Preventive Maintenance by putting it on CMMS and ensuring adherence.
  

Key essentials for the job:

• Technical knowledge does the candidate really know how a solar / wind plant functions How most equipment work What are the general failure modes What are the key issues generally observed. How is the plant designed what are the key design factors what are the key indicators of performance/ loss. Hands on knowledge of maintenance is a plus .
  
• Exposure The incumbent needs to have seen at least 3 -4 plants if not more - we need someone who has exposure to multiple scenarios to ensure they add value to all our customers will be great to have someone from a Services background from companies like Sgurr / kWh Diagnostics / Tractabel / Gensol / Any of the large IPPs etc
  
• Communication and Structured thinking Very essential skill set since most of our team members lack this skill today we need someone to come and fill that gap someone who can communicate with customers / understand the issue at the solar / wind plant can identify and communicate the same across the internal and external stakeholders. Finally assimilate the knowledge add to the process for under-performance analysis contribute to the product and build a nice clean report which is submittable to the end customer.
  

Qualification Skill and Experience

• B. Tech in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or Renewable Energy
  
• Minimum 3 years of experience in solar energy domain
  
• Minimum 2 years of experience as performance analyst
  
• Fluent in English speaking reading and writing
  
• Excellent analytics and reasoning skills
  
• Ability to interact with international stakeholders vendors and technology service providers
  
• Expert in computer skills such as Python Microsoft Excel Power Point etc.
