About the Role
As a Senior Project Manager located in our Brisbane office you will lead our control systems and electrical based engineering team working across diverse industrial projects. You will take full commercial and project ownership of projects valued between $500K - $5M including budget client negotiations and delivery outcomes. You will work directly with our management engineering resources suppliers and clients to manage projects from award to close-out delivering high quality projects on time and within budget. At any one time you will be managing multiple projects with mid to long term timelines.
To be successful in the role you will possess the following qualifications and experience:
Essential
- Tertiary qualification in an engineering discipline an electrical trade and some form of projectmanagement qualification or substantial proven experience
- General WHS Induction for Construction (White card/Blue card)
- Proven experience managing multiple projects in the $500K$5M range with ownership over the commercial outcome
- Strong commercial acumen (budgets forecasting contract variations)
- Demonstrated ability to manage client expectations multidisciplinary teams and subcontractors
- Experience in client-facing roles with contract execution
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Full working rights in Australia
Desirable
- Experience in industrial control systems and electrical environments
- Experience in Power Water Mining or Defence sectors
