What you will do
- Implement a structured business plan focusing on the efficient sourcing of new vacancies suitable for DES clients across your allocated area
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across the disability employment sector including employers government agencies community groups and healthcare providers
- Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and grow a portfolio of disability-friendly employers
- Provide post-placement support to employers to ensure sustainable outcomes for placed clients
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators including revenue growth customer acquisition and market share
- Collaborate with Brand & Engagement to elevate Affords Disability Employment Services brand ensuring all activity aligns with our values and mission
- Participate in internal audit programs and proactively ensure corrective actions are completed
What you will bring
- Demonstrated experience in business development and relationship management within the disability or human services sector
- Relevant qualifications (e.g. Certificate III or IV in Employment Services or Disability Services) or equivalent experience
- Strong industry knowledge and established employer networks
- Proven success in generating and converting opportunities into business outcomes
- Ability to work autonomously while contributing to team goals
- Knowledge of Federal Government-funded employment programs and services
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building capability
- Current C class drivers licence
