This role can be based in Brisbane or Gold Coast. 

Your Opportunity

As an Associate Director you will play a key leadership role within the team combining client ownership strategic advisory and people leadership to drive both client and business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities 

• Lead the delivery of tax and accounting solutions across a diverse portfolio including privately owned businesses family groups SMEs trusts partnerships and international structures
• Act as a trusted advisor building strong client relationships and leading high-value engagements from planning through to delivery
• Take ownership of a significant client portfolio including leading meetings presentations and strategic discussions with senior stakeholders
• Oversee and review complex compliance and advisory work ensuring technical excellence and commercial value
• Drive strategic advisory engagements including structuring growth initiatives and business transformation projects
• Contribute to business development identifying opportunities to grow client relationships and expand the practice
• Lead coach and inspire a team fostering a high-performance inclusive and collaborative culture

Your Experience

• Proven experience at Senior Manager or Associate Director level within a public practice accounting environment preferably within a mid-tier or large accounting firm.
• Strong background in private business tax accounting and advisory services
• Demonstrated experience managing complex client engagements and stakeholder relationships
• Track record of leading coaching and developing teams
• Experience across a mix of compliance and advisory work including structuring and mid-market client issues
• Strong commercial acumen with an ability to contribute to business development and growth initiatives
• Strong knowledge of Australian tax laws and compliance requirements.

Qualifications :

Completed CA CPA or equivalent professional qualification.
