Overview

As a Product & Solution Architect at RGI you will play a key role in shaping the architectural and engineering direction of our insurance platforms.

You will work closely with Product Owners and Delivery Managers to design scalable secure and maintainable solutions ensuring seamless integration within our clients application landscapes.

This is a role for someone who combines strong architectural vision with hands-on technical credibility and who is comfortable operating across product and delivery contexts.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and prototype architectural solutions across the full application stack
• Define integration patterns and ensure alignment with enterprise architecture principles
• Drive architectural consistency across business lines and delivery projects
• Establish and evolve development and integration best practices
• Provide architectural and engineering guidance and support delivery teams and IT services
• Ensure security-by-design principles in line with OWASP guidelines
• Contribute to architectural governance and long-term platform evolution

Professional Experience

• 5 years of experience leading architectural initiatives or technical project teams
• Proven contribution to the implementation of complex software solutions
• Experience in structured environments or service companies
• Knowledge of the insurance or banking sector is a plus

Technical Expertise

• Strong knowledge of Design Patterns Enterprise Integration Patterns and SOLID principles
• Proven experience in defining architectural and application solutions
• Experience designing secure systems (OWASP guidelines)
• Experience delivering projects on public cloud platforms (AWS Azure Google Cloud) and core components provided by them (AWS: ALB EKS EFS ECR...; Azure: AKS Azure Application Gateway Azure Files ACR ...)
• Proven experience on Kubernetes based systems
• Strong knowledge of Java / JavaEE Quarkus Bash helm
• Strong knowledge of Observability stacks (Opentelemetry ELK Signoz Dynatrace ...)
• Solid experience with REST APIs OpenAPI / AsyncAPI and web services
• Good knowledge of SQL DMBS and NoSql DB
• Good knowledge of message system (Kafka MQ Series)
• Good knowledge of major middleware components (application servers redis load balancers proxy/reverse proxy http servers)
• Experience with JavaScript / TypeScript and Angular frameworks
• Good knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3

Italian language is preferred.

Fluent English is required.

Education

Degree in Computer Engineering Electronics or equivalent disciplines preferred.
