• Assists the Clinical team in providing indirect patient care plus has non patient care responsibilities to include but not limited to turning over rooms pharmacy/specimen pickup or delivery setting up equipment for cases and patient transporting.
• Contributes to quality patient care by serving as a significant member of the health care team.

The Cooper Voorhees Surgery Center (VSC) is a hospital-run outpatient surgical center that follows the same clinical standards as Coopers main surgical facilities in Camden. As a non-24/7 center all patients return home after their procedures with any complications routed to Cooper in Camden or the nearest appropriate facility. VSC manages its own pre-admission screening and guides patients through registration pre-op preparation anesthesia and surgical care and recovery in PACU before discharge. This streamlined patient-focused environment supports high-quality same-day surgical care.

• Acute Care Hospital experience preferred (i.e.: Nursing Assistant Unit Secretary PCS etc.)
• Visual and auditory acuity for information retrieval and computer monitor use.

• HS Diploma OR GED preferred

• American Heart Association BLS

• 8A-4:30P
