Overview
A leading regional healthcare organization in Spokane Washington is seeking a Respiratory Care Practitioner to join its Respiratory Therapy team. This role provides direct respiratory care services for patients across assigned units while partnering closely with physicians and nursing teams to support individualized treatment plans. The ideal candidate will bring strong clinical respiratory therapy knowledge sound judgment and a commitment to delivering patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities
Deliver respiratory therapy services based on physician orders and patient care plans
Partner with physicians and nursing staff to coordinate and implement respiratory interventions
Operate and monitor ventilators respiratory support equipment and resuscitation devices
Perform respiratory assessments and diagnostic procedures
Administer oxygen therapy and related respiratory care treatments
Assist with emergency respiratory interventions as needed
Complete department orientation and any required unit-specific training
Maintain clinical documentation and ensure compliance with established standards of care
Support additional patient care functions within scope of training and licensure


Required Qualifications
Bachelors Degree
Education meeting certification/licensure requirements for respiratory therapy
Washington Respiratory Care Practitioner License upon hire
BLS certification through the American Heart Association upon hire
Strong understanding of respiratory care principles and current clinical practices
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in an acute care hospital environment
Familiarity with ventilator management and advanced respiratory support systems
Experience collaborating within interdisciplinary care teams
Strong patient assessment and clinical communication skills
