Key job responsibilities
As a Technical Business Development Manager on the AWS Compute GTM and SSA team you will:

Drive Revenue Growth: Design and execute GTM programs that unlock new customer segments and enable incremental spend across the AWS Compute portfolio

Lead Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Sales Operations Product and Finance teams to develop comprehensive GTM approaches that address customer demand

Own Strategic Initiatives: Work independently to deliver results in ambiguous environments demonstrating strong ownership and problem-solving skills

Communicate with Impact: Regularly engage with senior leadership providing insights and reporting on GTM initiatives on weekly and monthly cadences

Influence Product Strategy: Collaborate with technical and product stakeholders to shape roadmaps and secure progress toward shared business goals

A day in the life
No day is the same this role will work with Sales Operations Product Management Finance and Field Sales to build the GTM plans for Compute services.

About the team
This team includes Business Development Managers System Architects and Program Manager to assist with the programs and initiatives that drive adoption of Compute Services like EC2 Graviton EC2 Mac and Lightsail.

- 5 years of working with Core Cloud Technology Services including but not limited to Compute Edge Hybrid Security and/or Networking experience
- 5 years of solving problems with technology in the Telecommunications industry experience
- 5 years of solving problems with technology in the Energy & Utilities industries experience
- 5 years of Go-To-Market Business Development Sales or Consulting experience
- 5 years of working with Data & AI related technologies including but not limited to AI/ML GenAI Analytics Database and/or Storage experience
- Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams building processes and coordinating release schedules
- Experience selling enterprise software or cloud-based applications
- Experience explaining complex technical concepts to various business and technical audiences
- Experience presenting to both technical and non-technical executive audiences

- Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations
- Experience identifying negotiating and executing complex legal agreements

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience qualifications and location.
