Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a school setting. The position involves providing speech therapy services to middle and high school students with a focus on American Sign Language (ASL) proficiency. Candidates must hold or be in the process of obtaining a Texas SLP license.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech therapy services to middle and high school students
- Collaborate with 23 other SLPs per campus to manage a balanced caseload
- Work with students who have communication disorders helping them improve speech language and social communication skills
- Supervise and support Clinical Fellows (CFs) if applicable
- Maintain appropriate documentation for therapy sessions and student progress
Requirements:
- Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) is required
- Texas SLP license (or in the process of obtaining)
- Experience with middle and high school age groups
- Ability to manage a collaborative caseload with balanced workloads
- Open to Clinical Fellows (CFs) supervision provided for CFs
