Job Summary: Elementary Special Education Teacher
- Provide special education students with learning activities and experiences to support intellectual emotional physical and social growth.
- Work with students exhibiting externalizing behaviors with primary diagnoses including autism developmental delays ADHD trauma-induced conditions and/or sensory processing issues.
- Develop modify and deliver curriculum and instructional materials tailored to individual student ability levels.
- Collaborate effectively with faculty parents and guardians to achieve best student outcomes.
- Attend meetings consistently and submit required reports in a timely manner.
- Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication and organizational skills.
- Utilize knowledge of special education including ARD Committee processes and IEP goal setting and implementation.
- Adapt curriculum and instruction for students with special needs.
- Meet educational and certification requirements including a Bachelors degree and valid Texas teaching certificate with special education endorsements.
- Leverage experience from student teaching internships or related roles.
- Participate in a supportive community with transparent pay professional development assistance and referral rewards through Ardor Health Solutions & A.S.K. division.
