Job Summary
Job Summary (RBT Registered Behavior Technician High School Setting):
- Deliver 1:1 Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to high school students following individualized treatment plans.
- Accurately collect and record behavioral and skill acquisition data during therapy sessions.
- Use behavioral redirection and de-escalation techniques to manage and support positive student behavior.
- Collaborate closely with Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) educators and families to foster student progress.
- Teach and support skill development in social communication and daily living domains.
- Work full-time at a single high school in Cedar Park/Desoto TX area for the upcoming academic year.
- Maintain required credentials: Valid BACB RBT certification and obtain a TEA Educational Aide certificate within one year.
- Pass a criminal background check and fingerprinting as mandated by Texas schools.
- Work under the supervision of a BCBA or BCaBA as required.
- Be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent.
