Position Overview
We are seeking a Senior Analyst GL who can bring strong accounting expertise leadership ability and a passion for process this role you will play a key part in strengthening financial controls and ensuring the accuracy of reporting across multiple functions. Youll work closely with cross-functional and global teams contribute to process improvements and help build a scalable and efficient finance operation while mentoring and developing junior team members.
What Youll Do
Lead and manage month-end close activities ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting
Strong understanding of US GAAP along with IFRS standards and compliance
Ensure compliance with US GAAP and support US-based accounting and reporting requirements
Review and validate journal entries prepared by analysts in line with accounting policies
Hands-on experience in RTR / General Ledger / Corporate Accounting
Familiarity withfinancial managementsoftware accounting systems and tools (e.g. ERP systems Microsoft Excel financial modeling software).
Prepare and post complex and non-routine entries including tax-related adjustments
Perform account reconciliations and detailed variance analysis for general ledger balances
Provide oversight into Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) processes ensuring efficiency and control
Proficiencyin analyzing financial statements budgets and forecaststoassess the financial health of the organization and make informed decisions.
Ability to negotiate financial terms contracts and agreements with vendors clients and other partners tobenefitthe organization.
Support and coordinate global accounting activities across entities as applicable
Collaborate with auditors and provide required schedules and documentation
Drive process improvements automation and standardization across RTR and finance functions
What You Bring
Bachelors degree in commerce (B. Com)
Professional qualification: CA Inter / CMA (Intermediate) preferred
610 years of experience preferably in an MNC environment
Solid exposure to Accounts Receivable (AR) taxation and banking
Hands-on experience in RTR / General Ledger / Corporate Accounting
Deep understanding of GAAP / IFRS standards and compliance
Excellent analytical problem-solving and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency withNetSuite (NS)as the primary ERP system.
- Exposure toMS Dynamics Zoho Books or QuickBooks Online (QBO).
- Experience working in Shared Services or professional services firms.
