We are seeking an experienced Anesthesia Technologist to support anesthesia services in a high-acuity clinical environment. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in acute cardiac cases and invasive procedures along with the ability to manage anesthesia equipment and assist clinical teams efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and maintain anesthesia work areas across all procedural locations
Set up rooms for surgical and invasive procedures including required equipment and sterile trays
Assist anesthesiologists during procedures including arterial line (A-line) central line (CVC) and Swan-Ganz catheter placements
Perform room turnovers and ensure readiness for subsequent cases
Troubleshoot anesthesia machines and related equipment
Maintain and restock anesthesia supplies carts and inventory
Follow infection control protocols and ensure proper reprocessing of equipment
Apply aseptic and sterile techniques in all procedures
Support ordering and supply management as needed
Required Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited Anesthesia Technology program
National certification (ASATT Certified Anesthesia Technologist) required
Current CPR/BLS certification
Minimum 35 years of experience as an Anesthesia Technologist
Strong experience with acute cardiac cases
Hands-on experience with central lines arterial lines and Swan-Ganz catheters
Knowledge of sterile techniques infection control and equipment reprocessing
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in a Level 1 Trauma Center
Strong familiarity with various anesthesia machines and equipment
Key Skills
Attention to detail and clinical accuracy
Strong technical and troubleshooting skills
Ability to work in fast-paced high-pressure environments
Effective communication and teamwork
Work Environment
Hospital / surgical setting
Requires flexibility for rotating shifts weekends and on-call duties
