Inviting applications for the role of Manager / Assistant Manager HR Operation Austria
Own end-to-end workforce data governance for Austria lead Hire-to-Retire lifecycle administration manage employee master data accuracy ensure compliant documentation and system integration and drive operational excellence through automation and risk governance.
Responsibilities
Data Operations Governance:
Own standards and sign-off for employee master data transactions (hires exits transfers promotions contract changes) across Workday and ServiceNow.
Manage and enforce approval loops documentation standards and quality controls for workforce data.
Ensure consistent lifecycle management of employee data across Austria.
Oversee employment documentation onboarding social security legal compliance and contract governance.
Improvement & Automation:
Drive simplification projects digital tool adoption and workflow optimization.
Lead user acceptance testing change assessments and documentation updates during system upgrades.
& Risk Governance:
Ensure strict adherence to GDPR Austrian labor law and internal data privacy policies.
Implement internal controls to detect and prevent workforce data risks.
Lead audits and internal reviews; always ensure audit readiness.
Ownership:
Own workforce data KPI framework and reporting cadence (monthly quarterly).
Drive conceptual reporting to inform workforce planning.
Evaluate system performance SLA adherence and stakeholder feedback.
Systems & Integration Governance:
Act as key user escalation point for Workday and ServiceNow.
Coordinate workspace updates permissions and HR IT issue resolution.
Ensure integration and data consistency across HR system Employee Central Payroll Benefits and analytics tools.
Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement:
Lead and coach workforce data associates; run 1:1s team meetings and cross-functional project meetings.
Liaise with leaders payroll legal and external partners to mitigate risks.
Systems Ownership: ServiceNow; Workday; BMD/HR Suite SAP Employee Central; Excel; M365; E Mail; MS Teams.
Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors degree in HR Business or related fields (MBA good to have).
Experience in workforce Admin activity.
Proficiency in tools like Microsoft Excel and Outlook platforms.
Familiarity with HCM tool - SuccessFactor Workday Oracle Fusion will be an added advantage
Exceptional communication skills in English both written and spoken.
Willingness to work 5 days from office in Austria shift hours.
Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
Familiarity with Human Resource Management System tool ServiceNow and Workday etc.
Familiarity with automation tools and techniques is preferred.
Strong preference for candidates with European experience
Certification in data analysis or related domains preferred.
Attention to detail and analytical mindset.
Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
