Were looking for a System Dev Manager with software experience who combines superb technical analytical and operational capabilities with a demonstrated ability to get the right things done quickly and effectively. This person must be comfortable working closely with a team of top-notch software developers to support the integration and release of new software to operations. Were looking for someone who innovates and loves solving hard problems. You will work hard have fun and of course make history!
Export Control License
This position may require a deemed export control license for compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Placement is contingent on Amazons ability to apply for and obtain an export control license on your behalf.
- 5 years of managing system or software development teams experience
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering Mathematics or a related field
- Experience (hands-on) in systems engineering and administrative work in networking storage systems and operating systems
- Experience in agile software development methodology
- Knowledge of professional software engineering & best practices for full software development life cycle including coding standards software architectures code reviews source control management continuous deployments testing and operational excellence
- Experience with Agile engineering practices (Kanban continuous delivery etc.)
- Experience with AWS platforms services and design patterns
- Experience building complex software systems that have been successfully delivered to customers or experience with general troubleshooting/debugging of hardware
- Experience in prototyping with large-scale data analysis applications in complicated systems
- Experience with hardware- and/or software-in-the-loop simulation test systems

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience qualifications and location.
