This position plays a critical leadership role in ensuring technical excellence quality assurance and strategic positioning of A360s SRH/FP/MNCH/Nutrition portfolio while supporting national and subnational governments to deliver high-quality evidence-based services that improve health outcomes for women newborns children and adolescents. Additionally the role provides strategic leadership and oversight to A360s overall operations ensuring seamless programme management.
The Technical Lead provides strategic technical leadership oversight and coordination for A360s comprehensive SRH/FP/MNCH/Nutrition programming. Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Registered Nurse/Registered Midwife qualification with 12 years progressive experience in reproductive health programming
- Medical Doctor (MBBS or equivalent) with 9 years specialised experience in Sexual and Reproductive Health Obstetrics and Gynaecology or Family Medicine
- Masters degree in public health Maternal and Child Health Nursing Midwifery or related field will be an added advantage
Required Skills:
Minimum 12 years (for nurses/midwives) or 9 years (for medical doctors) of progressive technical and leadership experience in Sexual and Reproductive Health programming Extensive experience in at least 3 of the following areas: Family Planning Maternal Health Newborn Care Child Health Adolescent SRH. Demonstrated experience providing technical assistance to government health systems at national and/or subnational levels. Proven experience in developing and implementing quality of care frameworks and quality improvement initiatives. Strong experience in training curriculum development and healthcare provider capacity building. Experience in data management analysis and data driven programme management. Experience working with international donors (USAID Gates Foundation FCDO World Bank etc.) on health programmes. Experience in health systems strengthening and institutionalization of programmatic approaches.
