Job Summary

Purpose of the Role

The HR Manager is responsible for leading and managing the human resources function to ensure effective recruitment staff development performance management and employee relations. The role ensures compliance with labor laws and organizational policies while fostering a positive workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities

Policy & Compliance

o Develop implement and update HR policies and procedures.

o Ensure compliance with labor laws organizational standards and donor requirements.

Recruitment & Staffing

o Manage recruitment processes including job postings interviews and onboarding.

o Develop strategies for staff retention and succession planning.

Performance Management

o Oversee performance appraisal systems and provide guidance to managers.

o Support staff development through training and capacity-building initiatives.

Employee Relations

o Provide advice on employee relations conflict resolution and disciplinary matters.

o Promote a positive organizational culture and staff well-being.

HR Administration

o Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases.

o Manage payroll benefits and compensation structures.



Requirements

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or related field.

Masters degree or HR certification (SHRM CIPD or equivalent) is an added advantage.

Minimum of 5 years of progressive HR management experience.

Experience in donor-funded or NGO environments is an added advantage.

Skills & Competencies

Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.

Excellent communication and conflict resolution abilities.

Knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.

Strategic thinking and organizational development expertise.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Required Skills:

Qualifications Bachelors degree in Logistics Transport Management Business Administration or related field. Minimum of 35 years experience in fleet management or logistics operations. Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance transport regulations and fleet tracking systems. Proficiency in MS Office and fleet management software. Excellent organizational problem-solving and communication skills. Experience working in South Sudan or East Africa is an added advantage. Competency High integrity and ethical standards. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities. Leadership and team management skills. Commitment to safety and operational excellence.
