Beverage Specialist Eataly Flatiron

A Beverage Specialist is responsible for the receipt storage and organization of all beverage items for the Front of House (FOH) team. The Beverage Specialist serves as a liaison between the Beverage team members and Front of House Management. Reports to the General Manager of Restaurants and Restaurant Assistant General Manager.

• Receives all beverage items supplies and materials
• Checks incoming merchandise against order sheets for accuracy in weight quantity order specifications
• Receives beverage orders: unloads organizes and retrieves deliveries; records information; notates shortages and discrepancies; returns unsalable merchandise to suppliers
• Maintains inventory and delivery records for FOH and related areas as prescribed by Beverage Manager
• Assists Beverage manager with admin duties including placing orders as needed
• Notes all discrepancies in the daily log immediately and informs Beverage Manager
• Issues stored items to proper departmental personnel and keeps records of the release of those items
• Assists in stocking or transporting items to the proper location within the store
• Performs other duties as required or assigned

Qualifications :

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1 year of kitchen experience
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations

Job Requirements

• Availability to work onsite with a flexible schedule
• Ability to exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours including standing walking bending and squatting
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to use hand truck cart box cutter ladder label maker and cleaning supplies

Compensation: The base rate for this position is $22-$24 per hour.
