Role OverviewThis role focuses on driving capital equipment sales to EMS OEM and electronics product companies in Bangalore and South India. The candidate will work closely with engineering and manufacturing teams to position technical solutions aligned with production needs.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and manage EMS and OEM accounts in Bangalore and South India
- Drive sales of SMT inspection testing and automation equipment
- Build strong relationships with R&D manufacturing and procurement teams
- Lead technical discussions and solution mapping for customer requirements
- Generate leads through industry networking and client visits
- Prepare detailed proposals with technical and commercial inputs
- Coordinate with internal teams for demos trials and installations
- Negotiate pricing terms and contracts with customers
- Monitor competition and identify market opportunities
- Maintain structured sales pipeline and forecasting
- Support after-sales engagement and customer satisfaction
- Achieve quarterly and annual sales targets
- Bachelors degree in Electronics / Electrical Engineering preferred
- 4 5 years of experience in selling capital equipment to EMS/OEM companies
- Strong knowledge of SMT processes and equipment
- Understanding of electronics manufacturing lifecycle
- Exposure to high-mix low-volume and NPI environments
- Familiarity with inspection systems (AOI/SPI/X-ray)
- Ability to present technical solutions effectively
- Experience working with companies like Foxconn Flex Jabil
- Exposure to startup or high-growth electronics environments
