Deputy Manager Compliance & Legal
Job Summary
•This position will support the day-to-day management and improvement of Teleflex India compliance programs and systems. This position will also support in implementing compliance standards policies and procedures and ensuring these standards are communicated and institutionalized throughout Teleflex India. This position will be a local subject matter expert on one or more compliance topics or functions such as anti-corruption.
•This position will also support legal and provide legal advice to protect the legal interests Teleflex Medical India and ensure that business is conducted in accordance with applicable laws rules and regulations.
•This position will report directly to Sr. Manager Compliance & Legal for India & SEA
•Support in developing and implementing policies and procedures designed to ensure full compliance with legal regulatory and contractual requirements.
•Conduct due diligence on distributors agents and other Third-Party Intermediaries consistent with the various Anticorruption regulations including FCPA and ensure effective oversight of selection and use of Third-Party Intermediaries.
•Assist in developing and implementing Teleflex India policies and procedures designed to ensure full compliance with legal regulatory accounting and contractual requirements.
•Support in execution of the auditing and monitoring program for India by working with the Auditing and Monitoring team.
•Support in developing distribute and/or deliver effective training and communications in support of the Compliance Program.
•Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders- BU HR Finance compliance and legal matters.
•Assist in contract management for India and support the tender team by providing advice and manage any litigations.
•Keep abreast of legal and compliance issues that could impact the India organisation internal standards and business goals.
•Support in compliance and ethics related investigations inspections and audits and support in ensuring recommendations have been appropriately and timely implemented.
Performs other related duties as assigned or required
•A Bachelor’s degree is required with a degree in Commerce Accounting or related field being a plus.
•Bachelor of Laws Degree from accredited law school and admitted to practise law in India.
•Familiarity with laws and regulations associated with the above risks and related controls is required
