We are seeking an experienced Financial Professional for an interim role with a premier manufacturing client in Rosslyn.
This position begins with a comprehensive handover from the outgoing Financial Manager evolving into a leadership role providing financial direction and control across all business functions.
You will act as a key collaborator interacting with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders including contractors vendors government institutions and auditors. The ideal candidate possesses strong logical reasoning skills and the ability to navigate complex conflict with diplomacy.
Note: This role involves physical presence (sitting standing walking) occasional travel and regular presentations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Continuously identifies (internal) and commercial (external) opportunities to drive business value.
- Compiles financial reports leads the month-end closing process and conducts monthly financial forecasts.
- Analyses industry trends to assess the financial health of the company and the feasibility of new and existing commercial opportunities.
- Make estimates of funds required for the short and long-term financial objectives of the organization.
- Acts as custodian and facilitates the budgeting and business planning process for the division.
- Ensures accurate timely and relevant financial reporting on an ongoing basis.
- Participates in the creation and reviewing of finance policies and ensures appropriate internal financial and related controls to safeguard the information integrity and assets of the business.
- Assist the process of evaluating cost control measures to drive business efficiency continuously and competitiveness.
- Ensures an appropriate finance structure and effective resources to support financial objectives.
- Provides effective leadership and management of the finance team and contributes to the overall management of the division.
- Oversees the preparation of quarterly and annual account reconciliations monitors and enforces compliance with tax and financial reporting standards.
- Reviews and in some instances determine the strategy parameters and delivery of price changes (customers and suppliers).
- Facilitate the group requirements regarding corporate governance.
Requirements
- Chartered Accounting Qualification required.
- Business related post-graduate qualification desirable.
- At least 5-6 years Finance managerial experience.
- 2 to 3 years experience gained in a manufacturing environment with manufacturing process knowledge.
- Solid Computer literacy at Advanced level on Excel; Intermediate Word; Power Point; Outlook etc.
- Project management experience required.
- Thorough understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) Corporate governance Tax.
- Knowledge of ERP systems in general.
- Have a strong Accounting and Reconciliation background.
- Knowledge of Reporting System and BI Tool.
- Knowledge of Mergers and Acquisitions.
- Knowledge of risk management processes.

- Analytical thinker with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail with superb organizational skills.
