Position Overview
The Project Officer will be responsible for coordinating implementing and monitoring health-related projects within the organization. This role requires a strong medical background to ensure technical accuracy compliance with health standards and effective delivery of project outcomes. The Project Officer will serve as a bridge between technical teams stakeholders and management ensuring that project objectives are achieved on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Coordination
o Develop detailed project work plans timelines and deliverables.
o Coordinate with internal teams healthcare professionals and external partners.
o Ensure alignment of project activities with organizational goals and donor requirements.
Technical Oversight
o Provide medical expertise in project design implementation and evaluation.
o Review and validate health-related content protocols and training materials.
o Ensure compliance with national and international medical standards and guidelines.
Monitoring & Evaluation
o Track project progress against indicators and milestones.
o Collect analyze and report health data to measure project impact.
o Prepare regular reports for management and donors.
Capacity Building
o Organize and facilitate training sessions for healthcare staff and community workers.
o Support knowledge transfer and strengthen technical capacity within the team.
Stakeholder Engagement
o Liaise with government agencies NGOs and community leaders.
o Represent the organization in health forums workshops and stakeholder meetings.

Risk & Compliance Management
o Identify potential risks and propose mitigation strategies.
o Ensure adherence to ethical standards patient safety and confidentiality.
Requirements
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Medicine Nursing Public Health or related medical field.
Proven experience in project management within the health sector.
Strong knowledge of healthcare systems medical protocols and public health practices.
Excellent organizational communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in project management tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in multicultural environments.
