About the Role:
We are looking for a highly motivated Associate to join the WPP Media Clients Team based out of Malaysia. As an Associate in this team you should come with about 1-2 years of total work experience in the media industry. However fresh graduates with relevant experience (internship) are still welcome.
You will be reporting into Associate Director Clientsin this role.
As the primary point of contact foryourclients you will manage their advertising needs end to end across all andmaintainingstrong relationships with clients understanding their business goals and translating these into effective advertising strategies. You willbe requiredtooversee the entire campaign lifecycle frominitialstrategy and planning to setup execution and ongoing optimization. Your role is crucial in ensuring that campaigns are delivered on time within budget and meet or exceed client expectations. Through meticulous planningand continuous performance analysis you will drive successful outcomes and deliver exceptional value to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Relationship & Servicing:
- Client Champion:Communicate with clients providing regular updates on campaign performance industry trends and new opportunitiesin a timely manner.
- Trusted Advisor:Maintainstrong long-lasting relationships with clients based on trust transparency to help clients achieve their business goals.
- Strategic Insight:Develop an understanding of client businesses target audiences competitive landscapes and industry trends.
Account Management:
- Goal-Oriented Planning:Collaborate with clients to define clear and measurable campaignobjectives aligning advertising strategies with overall business goals.
- Cross-Channel Expertise:Develop comprehensive advertising strategies and media plans across all relevant channelswith the guidance ofplatform expertswithin yourteam.
- CampaignManagement:UseWPP Mediaworkflow management tool tocaptureand guidecampaignrequirementsandallocateresources effectively across different channelsfor effective campaign delivery.
Implementation & Operations:
- Seamless Execution:Implementation of advertising campaigns across all channels ensuringtimelylaunch improvement through learningsnewtechnologies/toolsand media know-how.
- Budget Control:Manage campaign budgets and track spending meticulously to ensureoptimalROI.
- Team Collaboration:Leverageinternal teams (e.g. creative analytics) to ensure seamless campaign execution and alignment with client expectations.
- Performance Monitoring:Monitorandoptimizecampaign performance closely usingWPP Mediaand/or other relevanttools to track key metrics andidentifyareas for improvement.
- Billing and Reconciliation:Ensure client spendsare reconciledpost campaignandsupporting documents with Financeto ensureclient billing and vendor invoicingare up to date.
Optimization & Reporting:
- Data-Driven Optimization:Regularly analyse data to uncover insights adjust strategies and implement changes that enhance campaign with champions within your team to progressively improve the performance of your client campaigns.
- A/B Testing:Conduct A/B testing toidentifythe most effective campaign elements andoptimizefor conversions engagement and other key performance indicators.
- Insightful Reporting:Generate reportsfromWPP Mediaproprietarydashboardthat clearly communicate campaign performance insights and recommendations to clients in a digestible and actionable format.
- Strategic Analysis:Analyse campaign data toidentifytrends opportunities and areas for improvement providing strategic recommendations to clients for future campaigns.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced deadline-driven with a can-do attitude will thrive.
- Goodcommunication presentation and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with ameticulousdata-driven approach to campaign planningmanagementand optimization.
- Someunderstanding and hands-on experienceacrossseveraladvertising channels(biddable and non-biddablemedia) would be ideal.
- Prior experience Analytics Adobe AnalyticsEvogenious(TV) Clear DecisionsMicrosoftExcelMicrosoftPowerBIis a good to have.
