Responsibilities

The Audiology Technician assists audiologists nurses patients families and others in order to provide high quality care. The Audiology Technician provides support to the Practice by answering patient questions in-person via phone email or electronic medical record conducting patient intake performing hearing aid adjustments cleaning and repairs maintaining cochlear and hearing aid inventory and performing office support duties.

Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION REQUIRED

High school diploma or equivalent AND two (2) years of experience with audiology operations including inventory selection marketing and coordinating public events OR An equivalent combination of training and experience.
Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS).

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION PREFERRED

Two (2) years of experience as an Audiology Technician.
