Job Objective/Summary: The Admissions Coordinator is responsible for managing the referrals and admissions that are generated through their assigned hospitals and territories by representing the facility with professionalism to referral sources. Conduct one on one contacts with potential referral sources maintain positive relationships with current referrals sources. Conduct patient assessments to identify patients for potential admission into the system. Utilizes educational opportunities to present the facility to referral sources. Along with Marketing Coordinator Identifies contacts and manages potential clients. Sources potential appropriate patients for facility. Coordinates transmission of clinical and benefit treatment to patients families and outside agencies. Acts as liaison for outside agencies and outside providers. This position will serve in a dual role with primary responsibilities as admissions and secondary responsibilities in the specific area in which the employee is clinically trained and experienced including all other duties as assigned.
Job Education Licenses/Certifications Knowledge & Experience:A High School Diploma or equivalent required. Experience in long-term care skilled nursing or relative specific setting experience in marketing and/or sales preferred. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Comfortable presenting and relating to all audiences and availability to work varying shifts depending upon facility needs. Must have verifiable Nursing License in the state of Arkansas.
