Hiring a full time Patient Access Representative to work in the Emergency Department. Position is Monday through Friday 6:45am to 3:15pm. Includes holiday rotation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Admit patients to all levels of care in the facility including inpatients and outpatients
- Captures all insurance and patient demographic information for a complete registration
- Answers telephone at hospital switchboard and directs patients as needed
- Floats to business office registration as needed
Qualifications:
- Education: High school graduate or equivalent required.
Experience:
- Experience in a medical setting preferred. Must have good computer and communication skills. Must be friendly and service orientated.
Applicant must pass a background check health assessment including applicable vaccinations and drug screen before hiring. Position open until filled.
