Dental Sterilization Technician

Lakeview Dental Center located in Chandler AZ is seeking a dedicated Dental Sterilization Technician / Dental Hygiene Assistant (X-ray Certified Preferred) to join our team.

Responsibilities:

• Perform duties of both a Dental Sterilization Technician and Dental Assistant
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laboratory and operatories
• Properly disinfect and sterilize all instruments
• Prepare and set up instrument trays (mirror explorer syringe gauze etc.)
• Sterilize handpieces and clean air/water syringes
• Monitor and restock operatory supplies
• Pour and trim dental models
• Assist with patient seating and treatment room setup
• Take and develop dental X-rays (FMX BWX)
• Ensure cases are ready for pickup
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Ability to perform both sterilization and dental assistant duties
• Experience taking dental X-rays (FMX and BWX) required
• Knowledge of dental office practices and equipment
• Up to 1 year of dental office experience OR related classroom training (biology chemistry health or dental assisting coursework)
• Experience with room turnover and instrument sterilization preferred
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established protocols
• Ability to work effectively with team members and the public
