Job HighlightsHybrid Working ArrangementConducive Working EnvironmentLearning & DevelopmentJob Descriptions:Fixed Asset & Lease AccountingEnsure compliance with US GAAP IFRS 16 / ASC 842 (lease accounting) and in-country statutory requirements for fixed asset and leases maintenance and familiarity with company accounting policies and all relevant GAAP lease accounting standards and tax laws/ with the migration of fixed asset and lease accounting tasks from local business units to the shared service center as fixed asset movements and lease transactions (new leases modifications terminations remeasurements) in the accounting system promptly adhering to service level authorized Approval for Expenditure (AFE) for all capital expenditures (CAPEX) and ensure proper documentation for lease contracts and for Right-of-Use (ROU) assets and lease liabilities including initial recognition and subsequent all supporting documentation for fixed asset and lease transactions is complete properly maintained and accurately -End CloseEnsure timely completion of depreciation (fixed assets) and amortization of ROU assets as well as lease liability interest accretion in accordance with service level and post lease-related journals including lease payments accruals remeasurements and with the Local Controller to ensure timely closure of fixed assets and lease accounts supporting the financial close month-end journals in accordance with company accounting policies ensuring compliance with local and US accounting standards and lease accounting timely accurate and complete updates in the monthly FCCS roll forward / data form to support corporate monthly Reporting Internal & ExternalMonitor review and collaborate with the Local Controller on Assets Under Construction (AUC) and lease data to ensure timely capitalization and lease commencement comprehensive quarterly US GAAP fixed asset reconciliations between FCCS balances and Fixed Asset Summary lease disclosures (e.g. maturity analysis weighted average lease term/discount rate) for financial reportingSupport the audit process by managing expectations providing schedules and delivering documentation in a timely Requirements:Degree in Accounting/Finance Business Administration or equivalent with professional qualifications (ACCA/CPA/MIA) fresh graduates are encouraged to in both spoken and written strong interpersonal and communication analytical and problem-solving skills to identify the root cause of issues and implement corrective to multi-task pay attention to details thrives in fast-paced who has Shared Services Centre (SSC) experience is an added applicants who can legally live and work in Malaysia will be considered.
