About the RoleWe have an exciting opportunity for an experiencedPrinter / Press Operator to join our team in Melbourne operating advanced 6 and 8 colour Heidelberg presses with Cutstar reel-fed is a permanent full-time role offering a compressed 3-day work week (36 hours).Start on day shift during to permanent night shift (Wed Thu Fri 6pm6am).Your DutiesOperate Heidelberg XL printing presses and die job tickets and production all work meets quality safety and production colour checks and print quality changeovers efficiently with minimal downtime and and resolve printing or mechanical and support printers assistants on closely with prepress and finishing production data and provide continuous improvement and plant YouTrade-qualified printer (or equivalent experience).Proven experience operating multi-colour Heidelberg presses (Cutstar experience highly regarded).Strong understanding of colour management and print quality to read and use colour measurement computer skills (Microsoft Office Outlook).Mechanically minded with strong problem-solving fit and comfortable working in a fast-paced player with strong communication and organisational and safety-focused BenefitsCompetitive onsite & global career health insurance help employees thrive at home & at work we offer an Employee Assistance Program (EAP).Employee referral program our employees are rewarded for helping us find great & inclusive of an organisation that strongly believes in sustainability goals.
