Working alongside a supportive and experienced teamyoull operate a range of plant and machinery undertake general labouringduties and contribute to the construction and maintenance of critical waterand sewer assets. Whats on offer: - A salary range from $1181.30 $1323.10 per 38 hour week (based on relevant skills and experience) 12% superannuation allowances. - A true 38 hour working week Monday Friday with the opportunity for overtime if desired. - Fortnightly Rostered Day Off (working a 9-day fortnight). - Four weeks of Annual Leave per year. - Access to Long Service Leave after five years. - Generous Sick Leave entitlements. - Training and upskilling opportunities. - Salary sacrifice options. - Secure permanent employment with Council.
Whatwe need from you: Were looking for a motivated andsafety-focused team player who enjoys hands-on work and takes pride indelivering high-quality outcomes. If you have experience operating plant apractical approach to problem-solving and a commitment to working safely wedlove to hear from you.
To be successful in this role youllhave: - Experience operating medium plant particularly backhoes/excavators and trucks with the ability to safely operate maintain and service equipment. - A relevant qualification or practical experience in operational works and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. - A strong commitment to workplace health and safety along with good communication record-keeping and problem-solving skills. - A current MR drivers licence and Work Health and Safety General Construction Induction with relevant plant operator tickets or the practical experience to obtain them. - A reliable can-do attitude and the physical capability to safely undertake the hands-on requirements of the role.
