Job Summary

ERG is seeking anelectrician with mid- to senior-level experience to provide maintenance and demand services supportofall electrical systems that support industrial and manufacturing ideal candidate must be motivatedand havethe skills to prioritize perform and communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
This position will be full time at the Naval Support Facility Indian Head and will include interaction with and support from ERG personnel at the facility as well as from ERGsoffices inFairfax and ArlingtonVirginia. Indian Head is approximately 30 miles from Washington D.C.; 25 miles from Alexandria Virginia; and 60 miles from Fredericksburg Virginia. Alternative work schedules may be considered.
Job Description:
- Installmaintain and repair electrical systems and equipment
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and provide solutions
- Read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints
- Ensure compliance with all building and safety regulationsas well as facility policies
- Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to install andmaintainelectrical systems
- Conduct preventative maintenance on electrical systems and equipment
- Maintainaccuraterecords of activities including work orders preventive maintenance schedules and equipment inventory
- Order andmaintaininventory of supplies and spare parts
- Coordinate with contractors and vendors to perform repairs and maintenance on electrical equipment and systems
- Operate andmaintaina bucket truck to complete the maintenance ofcablingsystems
Qualifications and Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a vocational or technical school program in electrical technology or related field preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with a Journeymanlicense OR8years of experiencewithout a Journeyman license
- Electrical personnel should have expert knowledge in lighting power distribution groundingandbonding and lightning protection system requirements
- Experiencemanagingnetwork cabling within an energetic manufacturingenvironment
- Qualified installer of allmedia ofcabling and terminations to support telecommunication systems internal andexternal tofacilities
- Familiarity with electrical codes standards and regulations
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- This position will require a pre-employment physical exam
- This position requires lifting objectsweighing up to 100 pounds
- Must currently hold or be able to obtain a Department of Defense Secret-level security clearance
- Must be a U.S. citizen as this position is not eligible for Limited Access Authorizations
$65000 - $125000 a year
