Job Summary
The Construction Quality Manager oversees quality assurance and quality control activities throughout the construction phase of a project. The role works closely with the project team to ensure onsite work meets agreed standards for quality safety and performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and support quality assurance and quality control processes on site.
- Review and monitor contractor quality plans and ensure alignment with project requirements.
- Work with project teams to promote consistent quality practices and standards.
- Identify quality issues and support corrective actions to maintain scope schedule and budget.
- Plan and carry out quality audits and inspections.
- Track analyse and report quality data nonconformance and improvement actions.
- Support continuous improvement of quality processes and controls.
- Maintain clear documentation of audits issues lessons learned and outcomes.
- Stay informed on relevant construction standards regulations and best practices.
- Provide guidance and training to project stakeholders on quality processes and expectations.
- Support the use of systems and tools to improve efficiency transparency and traceability in quality management.
Qualifications :
- Degree or equivalent experience in construction engineering quality or a related field.
- Extensive experience in construction quality commissioning or similar project environments.
- Strong understanding of quality management systems and continuous improvement methods.
- Familiarity with construction methods MEP and structural works and industry standards.
- Experience conducting audits inspections and structured problemsolving.
- Working knowledge of construction technologies and quality documentation tools.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with attention to detail.
- Clear communicator able to work effectively with technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
- Collaborative adaptable and able to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong commitment to quality safety and continuous improvement.
