*Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) required

Education:
*Associates Degree in Radiology or the equivalent required
Experience:
*1-2 years Radiology experience required
*1-3 years of modality-specific experience preferred
*Pediatric experience preferred

The posted salary represents a market competitive range based on salary survey benchmark data for similar roles in the local or national market. Annual salaries displayed are based on full-time employment (40 standard hrs per week). Annual salaries for part-time positions will be prorated based on the employees scheduled weekly hours in relation to the full-time standard. When determining individual pay rates we carefully consider a wide range of factors including but not limited to market indicators for the specific role the skills education training credentials and experience of the candidate internal equity and organizational needs.
In addition to your salary this position may be eligible for medical dental vision retirement and other fringe benefits. Positions that require night weekend or on-call work may be eligible for shift differentials or premium pay.

Department Overview
Position Summary
The Multi-specialty Technologist provides imaging services to patients and physicians to assist in diagnosis and/or treatment of a variety of conditions. Assists with the performance of diagnostic and technical procedures including but not limited to percutaneous diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures under the direct supervision of a Licensed Practitioner. Exercises professional judgment in performance of services and maintains a demeanor complimentary to medical ethics. Provides appropriate patient care and recognizes patient conditions essential for successful completion of procedures in both radiology and IR.
A Multi-specialty Imaging Technologist is regularly scheduled to work in two of the following the modalities: Radiology Computed Tomography Magnetic Resonance Imaging Interventional Radiology Cardiovascular Imaging.

Department Overview
Our special diagnostics and sedation nursing team supports multi-specialty independent testing and ambulatory surgery services at Childrens Minnesota Minnetonka Ambulatory Surgery Center and Diagnostic Imaging Center. Our sedation nurses receive training in advanced sedation and nitrous oxide administration; they work within the radiology department and partner with the anesthesia team to provide sedation services. The radiology department is a small cohesive unit with an experienced and dedicated nursing team that truly values putting kids first. We help to prepare patients for and recover from anesthesia sedation for magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scans and auditory brainstem response (ABR) hearing tests. We also perform peripheral intravenous (PIV) starts port care lab draws and nurse administered nitrous and complete pre-sedation phone calls with families.
