As a Warehouse Associate at F.H. Furr in Rockville MD you willbe an integral part of a dynamic team that values efficiency precision and reliability. Join us inmaintainingthe high standard of service that defines our legacy. We are looking to fill a full time position as a Warehouse Associate this role will be active from Mid May-August. Summer is our peak season and the company is looking for an extra set of hands to help out.

Responsibilities:

In this crucial role you will:

• Receive inspect and accurately record incoming shipments
• Organize andmaintainthe warehouse ensuring materials are easily accessible
• Assistwith inventory control including cycle counts and periodic audits
• Prepare materials for jobs ensuring accuracy and completeness
• Collaborate with the team to fulfill requests for parts and equipment
• Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently
• Assist with deliveries to technicians in the field

Qualifications:

To excel in this role you should have:

• Prior experience in a warehouse orlogisticsrole (experience in a similar industry is a plus)
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects sometimes in confined spaces

• Proficiencyin using warehouse management software or similar systems
• A commitment to safety and following warehouse protocols
• Valid Drivers License:A valid drivers license isfor this role.Company policy requires that all drivers be at least 21 years old
