Location: Mike OCallahan Military Medical Center (MOMMC) Nellis AFB Las Vegas NV
Schedule: MondayFriday 8hour shifts between

Position Summary

Provides non-clinical administrative support in a military healthcare setting. Serves as the primary point of contact for service members dependents retirees and civilian beneficiaries ensuring efficient clinic operations and compliance with DoD and HIPAA regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and check in patients; verify identification and eligibility
• Answer and route phone calls; manage email correspondence
• Schedule appointments referrals and follow-ups
• Assist with patient intake forms and documentation
• Maintain and update electronic health records (EHR/EMR)
• Ensure confidentiality and HIPAA/DoD compliance
• Verify TRICARE eligibility and assist with billing documentation
• Order office supplies and support clinic operations

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; medical administration education preferred
• Experience in a medical office or customer service role preferred
• Knowledge of medical terminology and EHR systems
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Strong communication organization and customer service skills
• Ability to obtain and maintain base access to Nellis AFB
