Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Data Architect to design build and optimize scalable high-performance data platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in data warehouse and medallion architectures ETL/ELT frameworks and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and will work closely with business and technical teams to deliver reliable secure and analytics-ready data solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and implement scalable high-performance data warehouse and medallion architectures to support analytics and reporting needs.
• Design and maintain conceptual logical and physical data models for structured and unstructured data aligned with business requirements.
• Lead the design and development of ETL/ELT frameworks and pipelines for integrating data from multiple source systems.
• Build and manage robust data integration pipelines using GCP Cloud Composer Apache Airflow and Informatica.
• Develop optimize and maintain ETL/ELT processes for performance scalability and reliability.
• Ensure data integrity security and compliance through governance policies encryption and role-based access controls.
• Optimize database and warehouse performance through query tuning indexing and storage optimization.
• Collaborate with data engineers analysts and business stakeholders to translate business needs into effective data architecture solutions.
• Implement data validation data cleansing and data quality controls to ensure accurate and reliable datasets.

          Document architecture designs data models and best practices. 

Qualifications :

Must-Have Skills & Qualifications

• Strong experience as a Data Architect / Data Warehouse Architect
• Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT tools
• Expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Experience with Apache Airflow / GCP Cloud Composer
• Strong Data Modeling skills (conceptual logical physical)
• Proficiency in SQL and Python
• Experience with Google BigQuery (GBQ)

Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and architectures

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with Collibra (data governance)
• Exposure to Ascend
• Knowledge of DBT
• Familiarity with Vertex AI and Machine Learning concepts
• Experience with Docker and GitLab
• Exposure to databases such as Oracle and DB2
• Understanding of data governance metadata management and lineage
