Job Overview: As a Passenger Service Agent you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to passengers at Kolkata Airport. You will be the first point of contact for passengers ensuring a smooth and hassle-free journey through the airport. Your main duties will include assisting with check-in boarding and baggage handling as well as providing information and assistance to passengers throughout their journey. Key Responsibilities: - Greet and assist passengers at check-in counters boarding gates and baggage claim areas - Ensure all passengers have valid travel documents and assist with any necessary paperwork - Handle and resolve any customer inquiries or complaints in a professional and timely manner - Provide accurate and up-to-date information on flight schedules delays and gate changes - Assist with the boarding process including verifying passenger tickets and boarding passes - Handle baggage including tagging loading and unloading onto the correct flights - Ensure the safety and security of all passengers and their belongings at all times - Collaborate with other airport staff including ground crew and flight attendants to ensure a smooth and efficient operation - Follow all company and industry regulations and procedures to maintain a safe and secure environment for all passengers and staff Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent - Previous customer service experience is preferred - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment - Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills - Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays - Must be able to lift up to 50lbs and stand for long periods of time - Must have a professional and friendly demeanor at all times If you are a team player with a passion for providing exceptional customer service we would love to hear from you.
