Job Summary

How will you make an impact

Are you passionate about making a positive impact on our members dignified retirement As a Manager Compliance at Hostplus you will play a pivotal role in implementing managing and continually enhancing the Compliance Management Framework including compliance policies and procedures. You will also support the delivery of the enterprisewide compliance strategy ensuring consistent application across all Enterprise business units.


The opportunity

  • Maintain and manage the Enterprise obligations library in line with the Compliance Management Framework.
  • Support breach identification assessment investigation and reporting processes.
  • Lead the identification and monitoring of upcoming legislative and regulatory changes impacting the business.
  • Undertake regulatory and legislative change impact assessments and support the effective implementation of required changes across the Enterprise.
  • Support the preparation coordination and followup of regulatory change forums and regulatory change steering committees ensuring clear accountability.
  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure regulatory changes are effectively embedded into business processes and decisionmaking.
  • Provide advice and guidance to Enterprise business units to support compliance with legal regulatory licence and statutory obligations.
  • Manage the implementation of legislative and regulatory change initiatives providing compliance oversight of the regulatory change agenda.
  • Undertake any other reasonable duties as requested by the Chief Risk Officer and/or the Head of Enterprise Risk & Compliance.

About you

  • Minimum of 4 years experience in risk compliance or audit management within the financial services industry ideally within superannuation or broader financial services.
  • Demonstrated experience interpreting legislative and regulatory requirements and translating them into practical operational outcomes.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships.
  • Welldeveloped written communication skills including report writing as well as strong verbal communication capabilities.
  • Tertiary qualification in Commerce Law or a related discipline or equivalent years of relevant professional experience.
  • Experience within superannuation and/or financial services will be highly regarded.
