This Gold Coast based interior design and interior styling studio is known for creating considered residential spaces that feel warm elevated and timeless. Delivering a full suite of services across interior design interior styling property styling and curated content working closely with clients and industry partners from concept through to completion.

Entering a new phase of evolution the business has grown into a multifaceted design house delivering residential interior design interior and property styling alongside the development of a boutique studio space designed for client engagement creative work and curated content. Its aesthetic draws on a contemporary coastal sensibility defined by clean lines considered simplicity layered textures and a strong balance between form and function positioning the studio for continued growth and longterm relevance.

The Role

The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving strategic growth for the studio through proactive relationship-building partnerships and early-stage project involvement.

This role focuses on long-term sustainable growth building a strong predictable pipeline across residential multi-residential and aligned commercial opportunities.

The Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with developers consultants and industry partners
  • Act as a trusted point of contact for key external relationships
  • Nurture long-term partnerships that align with the studios positioning and values
  • Attend relevant industry events memberships and networking opportunities
  • Represent the brand confidently and professionally
  • Build and manage a sustainable forward-looking pipeline
  • Track leads opportunities and conversion rates
  • Provide reporting and insights on market activity and development trends
  • Identify emerging opportunities within the local and regional market
  • Work closely with leadership and the Project Coordinator to ensure smooth handover of new projects
  • Align growth efforts with studio capacity and delivery capability
  • Support and represent the brand evolution through strategic partnerships and positioning

The Requirements

  • Proven B2B business development & sales experience
  • Background in interior design construction property development or professional services preferred
  • Established network within the residential or design/construction industry (highly regarded)
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Commercially minded with an analytical approach to growth
  • Proactive confident and self-motivated
